A beautiful and unusual Victorian locket circa 1880, in Silver and 18ct rose gold (marked on original jump ring). The front shows an ornate etched border with scroll flourish, and a central cartouche in rose gold, which could be engraved, should you choose to do so. The back shows a large glass covered, hinged opening for a picture, or a cut of hair or similar, framed in rose gold. The jump ring is rose gold. The glass window closes securely. Looks equally beautiful on a silver or rose gold chain.
