Conversion ring made from a stick pin circa 1900, the Joan of Arc head detail is 18ct hard gold plate on brass, made at a time (the year 1900) when a movie about Joan of Arc and her life was made, creating a newfound respect for the young visionary who led soldiers to battle in the 100 year war circa 1400. 
 
The band is solid 9ct gold, 1.8mm wide inverted D shape, so very comfortable to wear, and is a size P.5-Q. This is a very unusual and elegant ring, Joan measures 15mm high and 15mm across and has an attractive face, and swirled detail typical of the Art Nouveau era, and is in excellent condition. A real talking point!
