A vibrant antique enamelled bird on an Edwardian rolled gold chunky chain, fastening with original Albert clasps and a detachable extension, this is a one of a kind piece full of joy! The bird is gilded brass, with enamelling in blue, green and red ( a small section of enamel at the tip of one of the wings is worn, otherwise in excellent condition for its 100 years). The extension at the back of the neck allows for the chain to be worn a little shorter if preferred. The chain is a warm yellow gold, dating to approximately 1910.
