The most beautiful swan sitting within a horseshoe, carved and etched in Mother of Pearl , circa 1890. The detail is fantastic, and it’s incredible to think she has survived intact for so long! She sits hanging from an Edwardian rolled gold fancy link chain, with a mother of pearl long bead which has been rethreaded, but came with the original swan piece. The necklace has the original barrel clasp, and is a slightly rosy gold. A very special piece.
