A beautifully ornate picture frame, silver plated, without glass, and folds thin and flat, as it was intended for travel. Scrolls and flowers typical of the period are in high relief all the way around, finished by a lined border with cross/sash detail.

The back is a lightweight metal plate, probably aluminium, with press clips to attach to the front (2 are missing, but not needed), and a metal stand which folds flat.

This comes with a print by Kay Nielsen, who was a renowned artist in the early part of the 20th Century, and illustrated many Fairy tales of the time.

Easy to change to your own picture if you'd prefer. Perfect to send as a gift abroad as it's so lightweight.
