The Victorians were a romantic bunch, spurred on by Queen Victoria and her adoration of Prince Albert, and as such, they used alot of romantic symbolism in their jewellery - which involved ALOT of heart motifs! This one is a beauty - Guilloche red enamel finish with a white border edge, and a tint seed pearl nestled into the centre, framed by gold. SWOON!
The heart is set onto a 9ct gold band, dating to 1956 (fully hallmarked), 3.5mm wide.
